About Steven Carter
Steven Carter is a Los Angeles–based cinematographer whose work spans commercial, branded, and narrative projects. Recent work includes the short film Light Bunny, an official selection of HollyShorts, and Pick a Movie, which won Best Romantic Comedy at the Silicon Valley Film Festival.
Steven has shot branded content and campaigns for clients including TrueCar, Chiller TV, USAA, DAV, and Guardian Insurance. He’s known for blending clean, brand-forward visuals with a cinematic touch, and is equally comfortable leading large crews or working solo - taking projects from development through delivery.
With over 25 years of experience behind the camera, Steven brings a deep understanding of storytelling, lighting, and collaboration to every set.
